About the Company
 
TROT ON  is a new service providing a private 'taxi' for you and your horse.
 
Our aim is to provide a professional service that allows you to relax and enjoy the event you wish to attend.
 
We wish to provide affordable transport in order that you may experience the variety of equestrian facilities now available in Scotland.
  
We provide a service from local trips to longer journeys for any reason.
 
We are fully insured and you are advised to read our terms and conditions.

About the Driver 

 

I am a Defra authorised transporter in accordance with the new Welfare of Animals during Transport legislation which sets out rules for anyone transporting horses that are not their own.

 

I have many years of experience of horse ownership.  I have been a member of The Pony Club and Riding Clubs and competed in many disciplines.

 

I am happy to assist you and your horse whether its a trip to the vet or an event where an extra pair of hands would help.

 

Should you be unable to attend I am happy to transport your horse or pony for you.

 About the Horsebox

 

The horsebox is the brand new Equi-Trek Sonic which carries 2 horses.

 

The low, wide, full height ramp together with loading gates is inviting and safe.  The horses travel rear facing which has been proven to be less stressful and more stable.

 

Optional full height breast bar enables the smallest pony to travel comfortably and is suitable for enclosing a mare and foal.

 

CCTV of the horse area provides additional assurance.

 

The separate tack/changing area provides security and privacy.

 

The cab can carry 2 passengers so you can bring a friend too.
